The Maharaja of Indore visited the Parisian photo studio to click some photographs wearing formal evening wear and suits, two elegant Western outfits. He was tall, fashionable, and attractive. The Maharaja and his young bride were in the South of France the next year. He and his friends had the entire floor of a hotel reserved for them in France. When I arrived in France before lunch, I was assigned a room in the same suite as them. The Maharaja’s wife, the Maharanee, was a beautiful teenage girl. She wore French clothing and a large diamond ring which the maharaja purchased in the same morning.
