18. Piscinas Beach, Arbus, Sardinia
Situated on the Costa Verde of Sardinia the Piscinas Dunes provide a beautiful environment containing olive trees and pine plants that are shaped by the mistral wind. The Hotel Le Dune Piscinas, an old mine warehouse with a view of the Mediterranean nature has lots of glass and dining places where visitors may take in the constantly changing sky beach, and waves. Surrounded by some of the highest sands in Europe the beach at Piscinas provides a naturalistic retreat with vegetation and fauna excellent for peaceful walks seeing deer and in June watching sea turtles laying their eggs.
