1. Michelle Williams
Williams earned an image for her part in the television series Dawson’s Creek and made her big-screen debut in Lassie (1994). But it was her generally celebrated part in the 2005 film Brokeback Mountain that launched her into the public eye and led to a nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She was then nominated for three more Oscars: Best Supporting Actress for Manchester By the Sea (2016), Best Actress for My Week with Marilyn (2011), and Best Actress for Blue Valentine (2010). She has yet to win an Academy Award, however, she did win a Golden Globe for her performance in My Week with Marilyn. Williams’ trip proves her skill and promotes her as a powerful figure in the film industry.
